The redesign of the Economic Regulation Authority (ERA) website in Western Australia focused on creating a modern, user-friendly platform that enhanced accessibility and navigation. Careful attention was given to the UX design, ensuring that stakeholders, businesses, and the general public could easily find information and resources. The layout was streamlined, with a clear information hierarchy and intuitive pathways, making complex regulatory content easier to understand and engage with. The overall look and feel of the site balanced professionalism with approachability, reflecting the ERA’s role as a transparent and trusted authority.
To strengthen the ERA’s brand presence, custom graphic elements were created and integrated throughout the website. These elements not only added visual interest but also supported the brand’s identity, reinforcing consistency across digital channels. A refined colour palette, contemporary typography, and clean iconography were applied to create a cohesive visual experience. The design ensured that while the website conveyed authority and credibility, it also remained inviting and clear, enabling visitors to navigate content with confidence.
IBC Digital played a crucial role in delivering the project by managing all aspects of project coordination, overseeing content migration, and developing the site within Drupal. The migration process was handled with care to maintain accuracy and continuity, ensuring important regulatory content was preserved and structured logically in the new platform. By leveraging Drupal’s flexibility and robust features, the development team delivered a reliable, scalable website tailored to the ERA’s needs. With this collaboration, the ERA now has a modern digital presence that supports its commitment to transparency and accessibility in Western Australia.
